Among scattered logs of the hillsides and splashing waters of the creekside, the beavers take a break from building to gambol about. Autumn is here, and the dam must be built before the kits arrive, and there is fish to catch and much work to be done, and yet love is found in the moments taken between that will carry through the many months of winter, sheltering at home.
