Our story
The Adventurer’s Emporium started very small. A few handcrafted wares. A little table. A sign made out of a wooden shield found discarded on the road, painted by cunning use of twig. Quite the fated beginning for the unusual little business grown from those particular seeds.
Now we wander on our journey, stopping here and there for new adventures, and gathering artists as we go. At heart, The Adventurer’s Emporium wouldn’t be anything without the friends we’ve made along the way. Our cozy little hut really thrives with a cooperative group of makers joining together in the thrill of discovering the market for their craft.
Woodworkers, metalworkers, stitchers and herbalists, wireworkers, knitters, leatherworkers or all kinds, furriers, trappers, and traders, painters and whittlers, there’s a home for them at The Adventurer’s Emporium. After all, where would we be ourselves without the opportunity given to us by Oberon, king of the fairies, and headman of Oberon’s Traveling Tavern?
Retail. Eergh…
With our friends at our side, we can instead seek out new opportunities great and small and create, create, create!
True enough, the journey began with experiences in a life lived, creating for myself and others, until I come before you with armfuls of maker’s skills to make your costume dreams come true. The Gallery is chock-full of past works to exhibit my different talents, for you to decide if I am who you need. I like to say, “If I can draw it, I can make it”. If I can’t, I surely know someone who can. This isn’t your typical upselling boutique of frippery, I want what’s in your head to be in your hands, and if the best way to do that is to send you to someone else I won’t hesitate to lead you on the right path for your journey.
This is The Adventurer’s Emporium! Gear up, and get out there.
We’d also like to thank our contributors throughout the years and into our future.
